Retired Lieutenant Colonel; graduate in civil engineering. In 1973, after receiving his general qualification for university entrance (Abitur), he joined the airforce as officer candidate. After studying electrical engineering at the "Bundeswehrhochschule" (university of the German Force) in Munich he finished his training as a fire control officer for the antiaircraft missile system NIKE Hercules and was deployed for different troop duties.
In 1988 he changed to logistics and worked for the department of material.
1995, after operating in the field of administrating and changing software for armory systems in the MatALw, Airforce, he undertook the task of realizing a "DV"- procedure for interactive electrical technical documentation in the "Luftwaffen-Unterstützungskommando" (LwUKdo). When the LwUKdo was closed, he changed to central logistics and operated for the logistics department of the German Force.
Simultanously, since 1995 OTL a.D. Rogge (Retired Lieutenant Colonel) was the german military representative of the team working for the administration and enhancements of AECMA SPEC 1000D, the so-called TPSMG.
Since April 2006 is working free-lance as speaker and consultant for the SSC.
