Advanced System Life Cycle & ILS Manager

The development and production of high quality, complex technical systems usually focus on economic aspects related to investment
cost. However, such systems are in operational use for decades and create substantial future costs for maintenance and support.

Modern Life Cycle Management primarily offers innovative concepts to minimize such support costs that typically exceed actual
acquisition costs by far.

Decisions in System Life Cycle Management are based on applied procedures and methods to analyse life cycle costs and to develop
models for the future costs.
Concepts like Supportability Engineering, Maintainability Engineering, „Design-to-Cost“ or „Design-to-Maintain“ respectively comprise strategic forecasting and planning of future efforts to maintain the operability and readiness of systems.

The University Certificate
in System Life Cycle and Integrated Logistic Support Management offers comprehensive management knowledge with focus on project-oriented enterprises, manufacturers and government organizations with public budgets.

This certificate is offered in cooperation with SSC System Support Consulting GmbH.

Students of former SSC-Seminars (or equivalent courses) having an undergraduate degree (university/ university of applied sciences) and/or equivalent professional work experience may get the admission to a compact version of the program (=2 modules; in total EUR 3900,-).

The first course (compact version) will start on August,16.-21., 2010 in Munich (module 1) and will be continued in September at the Danube University Krems (module 2).
The course language will be German, but we offer also courses in the English language on demand. Please ask for the schedule.
